I called a local restaurant last night for carryout for a late dinner. They usually have a weekend special. The special last night was Whiting or Perch Sandwiches - Buy One Get One Free, which they announce when they answer the phone...

HER: Hello, Thank you for calling Uptown, this is Shaniqua, Our Special is Whiting or Perch Sandwiches - Buy One Get One Free...

ME: Hey, I'll try the Whiting Sandwich,

HER: (Immediately) I'm sorry we are out of Whiting.

So I order a Chicken Dinner.

Okay, I could understand IF they just RAN OUT....

But I call back a few minutes later to confirm/add something on my order...

I wanted to say you stupid B!TCH, if you are out of Whiting then WHY the FSCK are you still promoting it as a SPECIAL!

Would it be so difficult to say "Our Special tonight is Perch Sandwich - Buy One Get One Free?

I just left it alone for fear that something may happen to my food.
