It's Official... VERIZON SUCKS!!!
#4
I've been a very, very happy Verizon customer for several years now.

Bluetooth is crippled, somewhat, on the phones, yes, but there are easy workarounds to allow that type of access so the phone can 'do its thing'. The photos transferring is the easiest and is legitimate (i.e. standard file transfer service via Bluetooth).

No problem with EVDO (via Blutooth or USB cable) or NationalAccess here....transferring photos...music...applications - and very importantly, backing up the entire phone/system image for restoration.

The last time I replaced my phone (actually went to a V-store a few months ago), I told them what phone I wanted...in/out in 10 minutes with it programmed. (LG-VX9800 to LG-VX9900). Of course keeping my old phone, as always, so I can very, very, very easily switch service, 24/7, to that phone myself (via the online account access which will let you activate virtually any compatible phone).

Such a wonderful feature they provide to their customers if they need to change phones for whatever reasons. I swapped out a few phones during one week just to 'try them out'...no personal contact with Verizon needed for this.

Yes, GSM/SIM phones can do this on a whim...but different technology there.
