incognegro, have you tried the Mac OSX version of Bitpim? I have US Cingular service- we have three phones (Kyocera) that are just past the warranty period. Two of the three have gone bad in just the last few days. I called their customer service and with almost no prompting, only a question of how she could help me, the lady is sending me three brand new LG UX245 bluetooth camera phones (low res camera, but my Kyoceras have nothing).
I'm very pleased, just a swap of phones. She said we've been with them for over 7 years now and they want to keep us.
Anyway- I have the USB cable from a previous LG, but I've read on the Apple boards of people using bluetooth to transfer pics and ring tones on LGs. I get my phones on Thursday- what should I expect? I just downloaded the Mac version of Bitpim 9.11, I believe the same version number as the Windows version.
