Search the web for Alltel's Razr firmware and directions for flashing the Razr. Alltel uses the same network technology as Verizon. Be careful and do it at your own risk. This firmware replaces Verizon's botched OEM firmware and restores functionality and speed to the phone. Verizon tends to do this on many of their phones and this may have been the reason that an Apple/Verizon deal never came to be.
