It's say it's not fair. $101 fine? That's not nearly fair enough. I believe it's against the law here in Indiana, though I'm not sure what the penalty is. What kind of idiot wears headphones while driving a car!? Ear buds or over the ear, it doesn't matter. Along the same principle then, extremely loud audio systems, front seat DVD players, cell phones... all should be banned while driving because you can't hear what's going on around you.
We got a decent amount of snow yesterday. Central Indiana came to a crawl. I was fortunate enough to avoid a SERIOUS car accident because I was alert and watching my mirrors. A car went by me on the right, sideways, I moved over behind him in time to miss a minivan coming sideways to my left, on the interstate. Both must have been stuck in their little bubbles because they failed to see what was going on in front of them.
