Best SCSI adapter & scanner drivers for old HP scanner on QS Dually in Panther?

I researched this a few months ago for a client. Adaptec 2906 and 2930 cards both work without sleep problems that affect some other cards.

I put a 2906 in a G4 AGP and it works great. ATTO cards also get good reports
