re-powder coating
#17
The original "The Shadow" was too dark according to the NTSB/DOT/Whoever, so it was pulled, and brought back as "NightShades" I just still have a few cans of the old stuff. I was thinking about blacking out the tail lights and satin black powdercoating my bumpers on my little GS350 about 15 years ago for a complete triple black car. In retrospect, I sure am glad I didn't. Good tail light lenses are damn hard to find for them these days.

Great that oven cleaner is working. Hot Tank in a Can is what I call it. Strips undercoating and paint of suspension parts like a charm. Also, if you have concrete, it will get most if not all of an oil stain out, if you give it time. Will completely destroy asphalt though.

Will you send me a PM when you come up with a coating solution? My brake parts show through my Buick rallye wheels, and most stuff will either burn off, or will come off with brake cleaners.
