Old Skool: Will RAM from a PM 7100/80 work in a LaserWriter 12/640PS ?

Just picked up a 12/640PS on CL. Looking over the RAM specs, it seems the RAM from my old 7100/80 PowerMac would work. Before I go into the storage locker and tear the old 7100 apart, would appreciate some verification– I remember the 7100 not being fun to get at the RAM.
