From the test resultss on Barefeats, I would say 3 GB of RAM will boost your speed more than a matched pair of 1 GB modules. There are a couple of specific procedures that are faster with matched pairs but I would go with more RAM.
You could use a matched pair of 2 GB modules but the mini will not address more than 3.3 GB. |
