Anyone have a Recipe for "Groaty Pudding"? Perhaps our British MRF'ers?

Richorlin;

That dish is only made once a year for Midsumer's Eve. Sort of like eating haggis at a Robert Burns dinner...not something you want to do more than once a year.

By the way, why not Google the recipe for "Spotted Dick" while you're at it?

I'll let you know if it's worth having more than once a year once I've tried it... :-)

"Spotted Dick" is easy... $20 and 20 minutes with a woman of questionable virtue...

Gutenberg;
Did you find this site? It makes things a little clearer.

You couldn't just settle for bangers and mash, could you. ;-)

I missed that one! Excellent!
Bangers and Mash are good, but "been there, done that" :-)

I have never heard of it but then I'm not from the Midlands. Surprisingly there is a basic recipe on a BBC website from someone who lives just down the road from me here in Norfolk (East Anglia).

Another excellent one!
Many thanks!

One day I'm going to have to brush up on English Geography a bit... I have a good notion of where Cornwall and Warwickshire are, but most of the rest... well... I need a map. :-)

Thanks again!
