I've been thinking about RgrF's posts and while I see the point, I also was thinking that there wouldn't be any Little Leaguer that wouldn't absolutely love to attend a major league baseball game. I still have fond memories, as a kid, of our Cub Scout pack going to see the Phillies play. Just being in a Major League ballpark was awesome enough, but then seeing the game unfold made it all the more memorable.
I support the Cal Ripkin Foundation idea, or any idea where disadvantaged youth get to see a MLB game; the memories the kids will have will be priceless.
