Priority Mail Tracking enough?

I personally don't worry about insurance or tracking on most things. $2 to insure an $80 item is too much....2.5% of the value. USPS loses WAY fewer packages than that statistically. And anecdotally I've never had anything lost or damaged by them.

I use USPS because the PO is convenient for me and UPS or FedEx dropoff is not. If those carriers are out of your way, then you add to the $2 your time and gas cost, etc, for a minimal chance for a problem with a replaceable item.
