of course you won't, but those drives don't seem to have any tamper-resistant stickers or anything in place. If you are careful, you can open it, remove the drive and then replace it (if warranty work is needed) and no one would ever know.
any time you look up the serial number of a drive that was pulled from an external case you would get a message to contact the OEM maker of the device that you got the drive from for warranty support.
