Warm water with a little dish soap, a handful of clean rags, and a small squeegee. Put towels down to catch drips and runoff.

I find it works far better than Glass Plus or Windex, which evaporate and leave much of the crap still on the surface of the glass.

I've used SoftScrub to great success, too, on a windshield with gummy cigarette smoke residue. You definitely need a squeegee if you're using SoftScrub.
