Suggestions for cleaning windshield - Interior

I used acetone once on a stubborn windshield.... the former owner was a smoker (YUCK!!!).
Worked pretty well...
Followed up with windex and paper towels..

Ventilate well, or you'll gas yourself to death with the acetone :-)
