Depends on where you're at, but $35 is fairly low. Often doctors only charge that low if they're getting you in and out. Is that cash? Sometimes they offer a discount for a "plan" (a way of offering a discount for cash without actually doing that [because they can't.])
But the $5k for 20 visits... I've never, ever heard of anyone charging even close to that. Most insurance companies will not let DCs charge that much. That's $250/visit. Many charge closer to $50 to $75 per "adjustment." Now, if they're offering other services while you're there like massage and such, the price per visit goes up.
