I've been paid by winning bidder via PayPal...safe to ship item now?

[quote mstudio]As long as it's not an echeck and the buyer is verified, ship it. Yes, the buyer could always do a charge back or make some other complaint. Are you sending him what you described and what he paid for?
Congrats on the sale, hope you both got good deals.
How do I tell what kind of payment it is? PayPal just says "instant" for the payment type? Does that it means it was drawn from his checking account? Or, paid via credit card?

When I have paid somebody via PayPal in the past, the money is always immediately withdrawn from my checking account. PayPal also has my credit card on file as a "backup" form of payment.

Yes, he is verified and has great feedback on eBay.

He got a good deal for sure. I didn't end up with such a good deal after all the eBay and PayPal fees as well as on the winning bid on the item. Next time I sell through eBay (if there is a next time), I'll set a reserve amount!

I'll just chalk this one up to a learning experience as this was my first time to sell on eBay.
