I had two different discs that had really bad spots in the audio.
Odd compression artifacts perhaps. I *assume* it was a bad run as one disc was from Amazon and one was from Sony.
High amplitude audio (explosions, crashes, shouting) in the 2-channel stereo tracks would suddenly drop in volume for a couple-three seconds, and then would return to the a normal level for not so loud sounds. That audio would be louder than the preceding explosions.
Some Amazon reviews complained about it, so it wasn't just me. Maybe I'll NetFlix it and see if it was fixed.
