This thread hits home.
I went in for a root canal on a bottom molar. Long story short, they tried to seal the inside of the tooth but couldn't. Choice was to forget the pain I already endured, temporary cap it and go to a specialist to try to seal it again. The dentist said he doubted the tooth could be saved.
I said pull it.
Right on the spot where I chewed on my left side. Thought about getting an implant but there is no way I could justify $3k. Too many other things with higher priority like getting braces on my oldest daughter's teeth.
But to have to suffer with a screwed up bite for the rest of my life? Might have to check and see what the going rate is for an implant.
