Steve responds to Mac user's email regarding lack of FW on new MBs
#10
I use FW800 for card readers and hard drives. If your moving 34MB, USB is fine, but moving 30GB at a time? FW cuts time in 1/2.

TDM is great and I use it often. It's easier then networking two Macs, like when moving data from a laptop to the tower.

How about adding a eSATA port?

On each side put 2 USB, 1FW400 then put a FW800 on one side and eSATA on the other. Get rid of the phone jack, does anyone still use that?
