Steve Jobs mad at complainers of no FireWire in Macbook
#6
Wow what a load of spin. Jobs writes:

"Actually, all of the new HD camcorders of the past few years use USB 2"

Is a casual, neutral sentence, arguably, a statement of ordinary fact. How is it terse?

Because he didn't write a long, friendly letter? Because he didn't offer to buy him an ice cream?

As quick little one-sentence emails go, looks A-Okay to me. He actually responded. This should be a good example of why CEOs rarely respond to emails, and is further proof: CEOs should never, ever reply to ordinary people.

Otherwise, they get publicity like this:

"Jobs is mad! Look at this angry email he wrote!"

"Did you see that? He nearly took the guy's head off!"

"Did you hear Steve Jobs bitched at some guy in an email?"

"He's really mad about the Firewire thing, did you see that pissed-off email he wrote?"
