I've been using a medium-sized (8x6" active area) Wacom Intuos tablet for years in my home studio (heavy duty Photoshop work), and am thinking about getting one of the new Intuos4 tablets to shlep with me to freelance locations or take on trips to use with a laptop.
I was contemplating getting a small one this time (c. 6x4" active area) instead of the medium (now c. 8.8 x5.5" active area) because of the ease of portability and the lower price.
I'm wondering if anyone here uses Wacom Intuos tablets and can comment on the size issue. The medium size is perfectly comfortable and I'm guessing that I could just as well adapt to a smaller size, but I'd hate to make a purchase and discover otherwise and go thru the PITA of exchanging it.
