Still looking for that elusive shredder
#11
I've got the 77Cs (though my personal preference is for 34Ds) and it works as advertised.

The basket thing is a little awkward and feels cheaper than it is. Fellows stresses short shredding times and oiling of the blades. So far it's worked fine. I just wish the strips were shorter.

I've got another shedder and the name escapes me at the moment. It sits on top of it's small four/five piece stand/container. The mechanism weighs a ton! It can only handle four or five sheets of paper and it cuts in continuous strips, no cross-cutting. And I've never oiled the blades in the 10-years I've had it. I'll have to research that.

But it's worked for years, feels like it was built to Mil-Spec, and Ollie North gave it four out of five stars.

I upgraded to the Fellows because of the cross-cut feature. Not that I'm that security conscious, but you can fit more in the same size container, and the fellows has a taller container. The higher sheet capacity and ability to handle CDs/DVDs were pluses.
