Planning on upgrading my sons Duplo's to regular lego's for Christmas this year. He's 4-1/2 and his occupational therapist said that he is ready (she worked with him for a few minutes last session to make sure they wouldn't frustrate him) however don't get him too many small pieces. It seems like most sets come with small pieces but we can just put those away for now.
Question... I have "all" my legos from the 80's... Most complete however most of them do not have the boxes. Thought about giving him some of my less than complete sets (misc. pieces) but mainly "roads" and "grass" and "trees"... Is this a "bad" idea? Seems like most of these sets aren't worth much. With the exception of my space lego sets which are staying in storage.
Anyone collect?
