congrats on the new setup. hopefully it will serve both of you well. those eMacs are kinda finicky when it comes to fan noise; sometimes a cleaning and good slap quiet 'em down and makes 'em happy, sometimes it only makes 'em louder and more pissed off at you. when they're happy, those eMacs were/are great, durable machines. mini's gonna kick its butt performance wise; enjoy.
