People should be using hands free only and a minimum of that. Accidents, traffic and insurance are at a crazy high. Most people do not have the ability to give their full attention to the road, when talking on the phone or to passengers. 15 and 16 year olds have not developed enough to safely drive, and should not be licensed until 17 or 18 and their test should be difficult.
In Georgia, with our terrible traffic problems, they want to only target teens for cell phone use. There are also warning signs about fines for cell phone use if you get in an accident in Dekalb County?? Why wait until then, and how do they find out, how do you enforce this? I wonder what those signs cost?
With home invasion, theft, vandalism and robbery at an all time high in Atlanta, intown cops are lying in wait to catch those that practice rolling stops at all the 4 stop intersections in the area. I know 2 people that were completely stopped and got tickets anyway. The cops can't tell at night if you are stopped. The traffic is so busy, that trust me, you have to stop. People are causing accidents with jaywalking, bike riding (weaving, not stopping) and cars are speeding and running the lights at all the major intersections on busy streets. People need to come to a complete stop, but there are much worse violations going on. Put a damn light if you think it is such a problem. The cops don't even patrol the neighborhood for crime. They just show up every now and then to get local taxpayers money because they need the revenue.
