Wacom Intuos4 tablets--small vs. medium??

I decided ages ago that the larger sizes were unnecessary for my work, as are the Cintiq hybrid display/tablets. I have no hand-eye coordination problems interfering with using the regular tablets, and have been occasionally amused when co-workers try the pen and tablet and puzzle over how they work together.
