Is this what Republicans dream about at night? Add another one to the Political Kookbiscuit Rundown.

Yeah, or you can blame Clinton for shooting at Obama and .. missing. Or GH Bush for not going the extra yard and taking out Saddam when he had the chance. Or Ronnie for training the Taliban to off the Rooskies. Hell. You can blame the damn Brits for giving India away, and causing Partition, and a near 30 year off and on war which saw the US and the USSR use Pakistan and India respectively as proxies. You want to keep going ? Blame the damn Coptic Christians for not offing that desert bandit, Muhammad, when they had the chance ?

The chain of mistakes stretches back through time. President Obama was on the hot seat when that particular blood debt got called in. He responded just fine. And his words to America and to the world were just.. perfect.

cbelt3:

These instances that you cite involve judgment and/or circumstances which affected or prevented success. I don't fault any of the previous Presidents for the outcomes. Clinton was restricted by serious legal implications; GHW was right not to go into Baghdad; Reagan's move was instrumental in bringing down the Soviet Union

W. exhibited gross negligence on countless occasions. He ran this country the same way he's run his life: recklessly and with an arrogant sense of entitlement. The evidence is voluminous.

Specifically, on bin Laden and Al-Quaeda, Bush showed a bewildering lack of interest. He was focused on Iraq before he was even elected. We all know the story about revenge for the attempt on his father. The evidence of making the intelligence fit the objective is abundantly clear, especially in light of all that has been revealed since.

I agree Sir August... ideally that will not happen....... the complex neuro-deficiencies of this world
that resides within its people is not remotely predictable.

I think cbelt3 was working on an analogy couched in humor and sarcasm...

I apologize if I misunderstood you... *(:>*

A gentle reminder to our peers to make special note of the placement of “S” and “B” keys today. The results of even small typographical mix-ups can be alarming.

“No Indication Obama Tried To Surrender”—CNN

“Obama shot and killed”—MSNBC correspondent Norah O’Donnell

“Reports: Obama bin Laden Shot and Killed”—Fox News chyron

“Surprised if Hollywood types not up late putting together deals for a movie on the Raid on Obama’”—CBS News correspondent Mark Knoller

America cannot afford to lose the War on Typos.

I have committed that typo myself. I haven't yet killed off Obama, but I have a proofreader going over everything very very carefully.

I have certainly been guilty of "Obama Bin Laden." Haven't heard the end of it yet and it's been months.
