I have hard copies of docs that will serve me best if these docs can be filled out by typing instead of my chicken scratch handwriting. NOTE TO SELF: Time to invest for a scanner.

if you happen to also need a printer, get an AIO, so much more convenient when you have to make a quick copy of a document. and get a B&W laser, unless you must have a color printer. Even if the printer is Black and White, the scanner part is color.
