Z, you're a real person and not a scammer and I'm sure it shows in the way you communicate. Especially if you do any talking on the phone with the seller.

I can recognize a CL spammer's email in an instant.

I've also gotten this kind of proposal from CL ads; I just respond, "Cash only, in person."

But I'm curious how the scam would work, if someone were to follow through.
