thanks for posting this. My friends asked me about this some time ago, I told them to NOT install this program. Should they ever come asking for help, if I see any trace of this MacCleaner/MacKeeper, I will refuse to help them.

Is Mackeeper and MacCleaner the same program but with different names.
I knew Mackeeper was crapware but I thought MacCleaner was a legitimate program.
