I wonder if you can sign up as a new member (I already have a membership, but it is up for renewal in a couple of days) and get the discounted rate?

Yeah, that's wha' I'm thinking. I'm now in a trial, free time, but I'll go for this $67 a year deal. It'll pay for itself on shipping.

Speedy said "new" members in the post...
I googled this and found that it says "The limited-time offer is only available to new members. " So I guess not

I like my prime. Amazon has been a great resource for finding things. They act as an agent for hundreds of thousands of sellers who otherwise would be selling on FleaBay or dealing directly.

I don't like how Amazon treats its temp workers. Their pricing system has put some small retailers in a big hurt, just like Walmart used to do by demanding suppliers to cut prices. What's the alternative... Fl'ebay, Newegg, F'lies, WorstBuy?

Walmart* is battling the FTC over their commercials that implied they were going to pay workers more. Pretty slimy when the richest family in the US has to defend lies of omission advertising.

I guess so, but I was wondering if different signup/account equaled new member? I can use a a different email address.

It seems as if mentioning Amazon has reached the same combustion level as mentioning politics or religion. That's rather funny.

I tried to send it as a gift to my other email address and I get the $99. I was hoping that I can purchase the gift today at $67 and apply it to my account in March 2016, but it does not seem to work.
