Your decision was wrong and not even handed in any way..for you to do your job as an Admin you need to consistent. You are an admin and your job needs to be taken seriously because you are a censor..this goes way beyond a message board and you don't seem to understand that.

And for you to suggest that I brought this to the attention of the board "innappropriately" is frankly shocking..

We're not going to have another round of discussion on the censorship word list. It's been reviewed by a number of MRF members at their request previously.... it's not something that was created here, it's a list of naughty words that is a component that Phorum is able to reference. Words can be removed, or added, but the list was boilerplate standard.

Folks... never argue with the admin ! Our little community exists at the sufferance of Macsales (Peace and profit be upon them). It's a few keystrokes to decide we are not worth the trouble.

And please... assume everyone here is all growed up and try to act like it. Got an issue with a longtime user's postings ? PM them and politely point it out. Keep it light, not offensive. It's easier to take criticism that way, IMHO.

You know, like this:
"Dude... the word ? kind of rude there... might think about changing it. Think of the children ? There are impressionable iPhone 7's out there ! I recommend ubbapoopy or gubblestinky instead. "

This phorum is a value safety valve in my personal continuing search for personal sanity. Please don't argle farble it up.
