As I write this, we are at 90% in the process or completed so the forum has herd immunity. That means 90% of us will do our civic duty to protect the 10% who don’t care about their fellow human beings. I’m good with that.

that means we can take off our masks when we post - YAY!

I heard a line on the news tonight that might be appropriate for vaccine hesitancy; 'The sooner everybody gets vaccinated, the sooner we can stop wearing masks and everything might get back to normal.'

Got my 2nd Pfizer yesterday!

Fortunately, I had no noticeable reaction in the hours that followed either of the two vaccines. Glad to be part of the vaccinated crowd! (tu)

Mask? I have never opened this side of the board in anything less than full Tyvek and a respirator.

I was supposed to get my 2nd shot this morning. A gout flare up kept me away since I can hardly stand.

They are in the process of rescheduling.

Uhhh, no. I've been vaccinated, but as mentioned, the vaccine is unlikely to be anywhere near as effective for me as for the average person ... so I am still going to have to use an N95, wash my hands, etc.

Second Pfizer on board here. Hour 9, no side effects yet beyond sore arm. Less sore, actually, than the first shot.
