But if the point IS to TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE AN ECONOBOX, then Job Done.

An American Kei truck.

I paid my $50 to reserve.

With my dirt-cheap electricity (~$0.10/kWh all-in, 24/7) it would be a great commuter.

While the existing auto companies want to try and sell you an over weight, lumbering and Fugly land yacht to maximize their own profits, along comes a new company with the right size vehicle.

Under $20,000 and keeps within the KISS principle, perfect.

Supposedly smaller than a Maverick. With only a standard cab the bed can be larger. The body panels are composite rather than metal.

I find it interesting but I am not in the market for a new vehicle.
