What used EV with solid performance (reliability), except Tesla?

Might be a misalignment between "Make" and "Model" going on.

VW is the top-selling EV in Europe

Huh

We are talking "used" EVs here.

"In full year 2024, the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 were again the best-selling battery electric car models in Europe despite weaker sales."

Wassup with the Subaru Solterra, it's seems to be reasonably priced.

How long has this been on the market? I am curious about the long term battery performance.

First generation (2022) got poor reviews across the board; limited range compared to others available, and numerous other complaints. Along with its Toyota twin, the bZ4X, were rushed to market so companies could say they had an all electric vehicle to offer.

Second generation coming out this year is supposed to be much better.

I've generally heard good things about the Ioniq 5's acceleration. Haven't heard much about NVH or reliability, but I assume they're decent.

I believe they'll be decent....the Koreans (LG) make good batteries.

worst reviews ever.

just get a new model Y. forget about stupid head. Yeah, we hate him too. but plain and simple its the best option for your wants and needs.

100,000 miles for just about any car these days is not a problem. Id say any decent car can easily go 150, especially if you take car of it. Our 2016 XC90 went 140 with nary a hiccup before we sold it.

100 miles x 3 times a week x 50 weeks a year = 15,000 miles a year... so 100,000 will come at 6.5 years, not 10.

Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ionic 5 are the safe answers. Pay close attention to what trim and what engine options and battery size. There are some that are inadequate. Pre-2024 VW ID.4 is not recommended. The Subaru Solterra is actually not that bad for what they are selling for. The battery is slightly bigger than the Toyota's, so it gets at least almost reasonable range, but still not great. Underpowered and boring, but probably a solid build.

I would suggest looking at the range on Car and Driver for their real world 75mph test. There's not as much difference between cars as you would think based on EPA ratings.

An overlooked option is the Honda Prologue. Yes, it shares the platform etc. with Chevy, but it actually shares fewer parts than I would have thought, and has surprisingly good range. I like the looks better than the Chevy.

It has good range (240 at 75mph, which is competitive with Tesla):

I have yet to sit in one, but that seems like a lot of prologues with very low miles... winder how carmax got them?
