When was the last time you used a typewriter?

For me, about 25 years now. The local DMV uses them today.

My last was about 15 years ago and I still have that trustworthy Selectric II. It'll probably never again be used except in an emergency or kernel panic or nuclear war or some other such unlikely event.

If I ever have to call on it again, it's unlikely the ribbon will be fresh enough to get me out of a pinch but at least then I won't have to worry about the lack of a lift off tape.

1994 at my old job and even then it was for the occasional carbon copy form.

I haven't seen a typewriter for at least 15 years, let alone use one.

The last time I can remember seeing one was throwing one off a building and shooting it at 500 fps as a bit of fun with mates back in film school.
