trust me, those "spring" hoses will kink. They also knot really easily.
Does anyone make a truly no-kink garden hose?

Kinks are annoying in hoses, but sometimes fun in partners…

If you live in a climate where it has to be blown out in the fall, a home grade compressor probably won't have the volume to do the job. That means you have to call a contractor or rent a heavy duty compressor. $

I only have the rubber Sears hoses. They don't kink and they are guaranteed forever--just carry it in and they'll hand you a new one. They pretty regularly go on sale. The only downside is that they are heavy and a small amount of the black rubs off on my hands sometimes.
Here's a 75 foot one: I got a new 50 foot one a couple of weeks ago for $20 in a store.

In my experience, the key is to buy 3/4" "heavy-duty" hoses. That's all we've bought for years, and they've never kinked...

Sears says this one "never kinks" http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605...000P?mv=rr

I bought the super heavy duty kind from ACE hardware for $45 for 100ft and it is truly kink free. First hose ever that lived up to its billing.
Expensive, but IMHO worth it.

You want a Goodyear brand CONTRACTORS Hose! They are not cheap but it will not kink ,even going around a tight corner, and they last a looooooooooooooooong time!
I have a 50 footer that is more than 25 years old and still looks virtually new! http://www.buildmartstore.com/blacconwatho.html
