>>In the best tradition of classic politicians, he feels it is safe to come out now. It is the same pattern with Wright and Ayres etc. They were nowhere to be seen or heard. As soon as the election was over and they knew they won't hurt him, they all got a shot of courage and started making the rounds.

Oh please! Think they would have gotten a word in without someone yelling TERRORIST?

....and double points for saying that Obama is like Wright and Ayers.

And the day is young!

I rarely use my middle name (or initial even), but will for formal/legal situations. Guess that makes me a bad person, with evil intentions.

People who know me use it (my middle name) very rarely, and people who don't even know me, don't use it at all. That seems normal to me. :dunno:

During the campaign the Republicans tried to use his middle name to suggest that Obama has terrorist leanings, to connect him to the Middle East and violence. Never mind that Kenya, where Obama's father was from, is an ally of the United States, and never mind that the United States is the author of much of the violence in Iraq at least.

Yes, Hillary and Bill and thier constituents and supporters NEVER stooped that low.

I work with a woman whose last name is Hussein. I find the discussion of Obama's middle name to be racist and insulting. "Hussein" does not make you a bad person.

and unfortunately racism doesn't disqualify voters.
