I've got a compost pile in the backyard & a couple of worm bins in 18 gal. Rubbermaid Rough Tote tubs. Saturday I sorted out one of the worm bins & was delighted at the pounds of great worm poop recovered.

Cat swinging was banned a few years ago so the need for that much room is no longer required. It's big enough for a couple of sofas and a coffee table, we had afternoon tea in it today. As it's at the highest point of the garden we can look over our plot while relaxing with tea/coffee or something stronger as we head in to the evening. It's a great place to watch all the garden birds and I often take the MacBook Pro up there to do some writing and surfing.

Yes. In a home compost setup, any meat or dairy waste is also a bad idea. I did not understand the comment about compost stinking. It should not have a bad odor when the process is complete, in fact it should smell pleasant.
