Flood of iPhone 3.1 problems?
#11
I have all the 3.1 problems it seems. Sad
Several crashes a day since the update.

No crashes here, but what I have noticed is that my Bluetooth loses its connection quite a lot more than it did under 3.0.1.

Oh, and another thing...

I also just discovered that 3.1 has a bug where it will switch on its own from wired to Bluetooth, without you prompting it to do that. It may be related to the more frequent Bluetooth connection losses I mentioned above.

Am on 3.1 and crashes galore.

Its not crash exactly, its freezing up of the phone and the phone becomes unresponsive. Suddenly it will spring back to life, say, after 10-15 minutes of being unresponsive.

Calls, mails and updates to apple yielded zilch result.

Fingers crossed.

Mottai,

Something similar has happened to my phone a couple of times but i found what appears to be the cause. Lack of reception. It takes the IPhone 3GS more time to get its reception back than my old phone. Meaning, if I go into a place that lacks reception, i.e. the elevator of my building, the lower level of the local Modells, it'll take a few minutes for the phone to recover its signal. It took my old Sony phone just a second or two if even that long.

Upgrading my client's iPod touch (2gen 8GB) failed multiple times and then almost bricked. Finally got restore to work and everything has worked fine since.
