Heads up: It may be unrelated to Boar's Head branding but the "animal" of the Tuscany region is the boar. In Italian boar = "cinghale". You can see boar's heads on all the butcher, salami & charcuterie shops around the region. Several times during my business trips to Florence in Tuscany, I smuggled back boar meat sausage or salamis. Entirely tasty.
