Our family enjoyed "The Time Traveler's Wife". To define a given movie as crap only describes one's own preferences. I'll have to say I first tried reading the book and after 30 pages returned it to the library as it seemed confusing. Enjoyed the movie though.

Waterworld had some very tolerable parts. I think if they'd intelligently cut about a half hour out of it they would have had a decent movie.

...but Postman?!!

David Brin has written some very good stuff, but that one was a turd that should have been flushed.

I enjoyed reading The Postman more than the movie, but still found it to be enjoyable. Waterworld could have been better.
