Thanks for the thoughts folks. Ready or not, I'm back. My bp just before being wheeled into surgery was 21/14 with no type O transferable available so it was as close to ground zero as I ever again hope to be.

I'm here to testify that there is no light at the end of that tunnel, of course in my case it may have been a black light headed directly toward me, but that I'll never know.

Glad you're getting better, Roger. Been there, done that. My light at the end of the tunnel was an OR light as I came to during surgery... And as I was screaming in pain, the doctor said "I thought you were out !".

You do NOT want to know what I said to him after that...
