I'm sure the App was written by some kid who has never seen an 8-track, let alone used one.

But will it properly emulate a misaligned tracking head that makes two songs play at the same time?
I wish I still had all my old KISS 8-tracks still. JPK

they were "programs," not "tracks."
![]() the tape had 4 tracks of L & R channels, hence "8-track." pressing the button or plunger shifted the head laterally along the tape, from one set of stereo tracks to the next.

I've still got some Marantz 3600 and 3800 stuff along with the 150 tuner, 250M and 510M amps.
