How to compress 62,681 KB in less than 2 MB?

kap, you didn't mention that reducing the image size (and thus the file size) was an option. That changes everything.

That option was not specified but I couldn't figure out any other way. It was my buddy's suggestion. I am just glad that it was over Smile

so what is the final file size?

reducing the dimensions by 2 would reduce the file sizes by 4x, which is far far away from your goal. I gues when you saved the new files, that program also used a lower jpeg quality setting, which further reduced the file sizes (more lossy compression). This is why you probably now have all 5 compressed and PDFed under 2 MB
