This is what I've been saying, that's it's all about ideology with these people that they will positively and absolutely suffer any sacrifice such as dealing with 45 (and worse) in order to possess and effect those sorts of ideals to come to fruition.

Most of us know 45's an incapable moron who wants to do harm, but to the standard conservative these days, he's literally a non-factor in their long term goals. That's why they don't abhor him; they really don't care.
