Ramen!
You can still find it for around 25 centavos if you’re lucky. It makes a dandy lunch.
For dinner, I’m with Ombligo - red beans and rice is dang tasty!
Now that’s good eatin!

Cheap stew. You throw everything together and let it cook.

I've caught some nice panfish (generally small bluegill) just using a doughball on a hook.
where I'm at an old chicken neck on a string is good for at least a dozen Blue crabs. If you are lucky you can pull in a catfish too.

I LOVE bologna sandwiches, whit Miracle Whip and kraft singles.
Stale corn tortillas, fried with onion and an egg.
Pasta w/spinach, garlic and oil... add bell pepper or squash when splurging

Yes!
Though it's beef bologna only, not chicken or turkey (if only they made it with pork!) and mayo not Miracle Whip, or mustard (but never both) on white or rye bread, occasionally wheat.
One slice of bread, two of bologna, one half Kraft Single, Sharp (possibly no cheddar content LOL!), with mayo or mustard, as mentioned.
Ramen! I love ramen and keep a Costco box handy, but not as a staple.
Oatmeal! I love oatmeal, with bananas. Blueberries are probably better, but I'm not much of a fan.
Tuna! A 5oz. can of Kirkland Albacore (anything less is cat food, anything more is sheer snobbery) with a little mayo, mustard, and pepper. If handy, some sliced tomato (as a serving platform), sweet relish, and chopped celery, and occasionally salsa. Sometimes as a sammich, sometimes on tomato slices on a plate.
If I'm out and jonesin'– a Quarter Pounder Deluxe, or something from the Deals menu in the App. Buy one Quarter or Big Mac and get another for $1. Or mix and match. Fries – order one size, get another or smaller for 50¢.
In the morning I might take my walk to McDonald's and get a Big Breakfast, with or without Hot Cakes, depending one the day, time, mood, and wind direction. <$6 with Hot Cakes.

Slumgullion is ground beef, chopped onion, tomato paste, and macaroni. Rather like Sloppy Joe sauce mixed with macaroni.

Eggs on toast (add 1/4 avocado if I'm feeling a little richer).
Pesto! A clove of garlic, a bunch of basil, some olive oil and a little parmesan mixed together in the blender. Have it with noodles, potatoes, or bread...whatever's around. Yum!
