18 people were killed and 13 injured in Maine shootings, governor says
#21
Once again, when it comes to gunners, the lame stream media exaggerates. Only 16 dead in the massacre so far. Too bad Maine has such tough restrictions on gunners or a good guy with a gun would have stopped this right away.

No Red Flag laws in Maine?
You'd think someone threatening to "shoot up" anything (particularly if it got to the point where that person was "committed to a mental health facility") would be at the top of the list for that.

WHAT? You can’t possibly be suggesting that the State would be allowed to take away one of the most sacred RIGHTS he had just because he had mental health issues.

God forbid!
You haven't been paying attention to my postings on this subject...

How a mentally disturbed man, that threatened mass shootings, is allowed to own a firearm is beyond me. Threatening to shoot up a National Guard station should be a crime.
How many mental health failures will we see before someone stops blaming the gun.

The view from across the pond:

REVEALED: The deadly secrets of the AR-15 - the weapon of choice for America's mass shooters

They must think we’re freaking insane.

And they’re right.

Red Flag laws are a big no-no among conservatives.

Here is my current Lt. Governor:

Except the AR-15 is rarely used compared to a variety of hand guns for mass shootings.

That's why the left will never get anything accomplished, if they even really want to. WE need to keep guns away from mentally disturbed people and criminals. All guns, not just ones used in around 400 killings per year

GUN OWNERSHIP IS A MENTAL ILLNESS.

GUN OWNERS ARE MENTALLY INCAPABLE OF PERCEIVING THE DANGER THEY ARE TO THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.
