Because a third of the country wants Netanyahu to start Armageddon, a third of the country conflates Netanyahu with Israel and Israel with Jews the world over, and a third of the country gets reamed out if they criticize Netanyahu by the first two thirds. So everyone tiptoes around the fact that the government of Israel is committing war crimes.
